William M. Gleason was an architectural consultant for Emhart Corporation for 25 years, and a veteran of World War II. He was an active member of Elks Lodge #2534 in Manasquan, NJ, where he bartended. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and resided in both West Hartford, CT, and Manasquan, NJ for the last 35 years.

Survived by his wife, Joanne (Mancini) Gleason of West Hartford, CT, his four children, Bridget Vacarro of Stamford, CT, Mary Elizabeth Gleason of Providence, RI, Colleen Gleason and Devin Gleason both of West Hartford, CT; a sister, Mary Elizabeth (Gleason) Jones and her husband John Jones of Union, NJ; and a brother Thomas Gleason and his wife Lois (Nilsen) Gleason of Brielle, NJ; three nephews Thomas, Kevin, and Sean; a niece, Eileen; two great nieces, Kelly and Brianna; and a great-nephew, Conor. He was predeceased by his sister Eileen Gleason of Elizabeth, NJ.
